TERMS OF SERVICE
Last updated: August 2026
§1 Scope
These terms of service govern the use of the web application FX CURIO (“CURIO”) and its paid subscriptions. By registering or using the service, the user accepts these terms.
§2 Services & plans
CURIO is offered in the Free, Starter, Trader and Pro plans. The feature set of each plan is defined by the plan overview published on the website. The provider may continue to develop the feature set and pricing structure; material degradations of an existing subscription entitle the user to terminate for cause.
CURIO provides analysis and information tools. It explicitly does not constitute investment, financial or trading advice.
§3 Registration & account
Registration requires a valid email address and a password. The user warrants that the data provided is accurate. Multiple registrations to circumvent usage limits are prohibited. The account is not transferable.
§4 Billing & payment
Paid plans are billed through the payment provider Stripe. Billing occurs monthly or annually in advance, by credit card or another payment method offered via Stripe.
Unless stated otherwise, the price shown includes statutory VAT for consumers in the EU/EEA. For business customers the price may be net of tax.
§5 Termination & withdrawal
Monthly subscriptions can be cancelled monthly; cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period and is performed through the customer portal in the account settings.
Consumers have a statutory right of withdrawal within 14 days of concluding the contract. The right of withdrawal does not apply once the digital service has started and the consumer has expressly consented to begin performance early.
§6 Liability & risk warning
Trading forex and commodities carries substantial risk of loss up to total loss. CURIO provides analyses, signals and tools for information and educational purposes only. No warranty is given for the accuracy, completeness or timeliness of the data and signals provided.
The provider is liable without limitation only for intent and gross negligence. Otherwise liability is limited to foreseeable damage typical for this type of contract.
§7 Use of data
Personal data is processed in accordance with our privacy policy and Art. 6 GDPR where applicable.
§8 Suspension & sanctions
In case of abuse (e.g. multiple accounts to bypass limits, automated querying of the interfaces, sharing of access credentials) the provider may suspend access without prior notice. In that case there is no claim to a refund of fees already paid.
§9 Final provisions
The law of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) applies. Should individual provisions be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions is unaffected.
