Question 1

What exactly is FX CURIO?

Accepted Answer

FX CURIO is a decision-support terminal for discretionary traders. It combines a multi-timeframe chart terminal, an automated setup scanner, a structured trading journal, a backtest engine, a correlation and news layer, and a prop-firm risk guard. It analyses and structures — it does not place orders for you.

Question 2

What does the scanner do?

Accepted Answer

The scanner continuously checks your enabled symbols against structural conditions — trend state, pullback depth, range extremes, session context and news windows — and lists the instruments that currently meet the criteria, together with a readiness rating so you can see whether a setup is ripe or still forming.

Question 3

Is there a trading journal?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Every trade can be logged with entry, stop, target, risk in percent, screenshots, tags and so-called excuse tags that mark rule breaks. The journal feeds the analytics: expectancy, win rate by session, drawdown behaviour and the discipline score.

Question 4

What is the prop-firm guard?

Accepted Answer

You configure your challenge or funded account with its real rules — daily loss limit, overall drawdown, profit target, minimum trading days. The dashboard then tracks your live equity curve against those limits and warns you before a rule is breached, for FTMO-style, Topstep-style and Apex-style accounts among others.

Question 5

Can I use it on a phone?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The mobile layout is a dedicated build with a tabbed workflow for symbols, chart and AI analysis, so you can review a setup or check your risk while away from your desk.

Question 6

Does FX CURIO trade for me or send signals?

Accepted Answer

No. There is no auto-execution and there are no buy/sell signals sold as guarantees. You get structure, context, risk maths and a documented reasoning trail. The decision and the order stay with you and your broker.

Question 7

What is Curio AI 1.2?

Accepted Answer

Curio AI 1.2 is our in-house analysis engine. It runs a fixed pipeline: market data validation, structural detection (trend, ranges, order blocks, break of structure, change of character, harmonic geometry), risk framing, and a written thesis with an explicit counter-argument. The engine's logic, prompts, guardrails and detectors are ours; the pipeline is versioned.

Question 8

How is that different from asking a general chatbot?

Accepted Answer

A general chatbot has no verified live price feed, no deterministic pattern detectors, no position-size maths tied to your account, no prop-firm limits and no reproducibility. Curio AI works on validated candle data, computes structure deterministically before any language step, and shows you each stage of its reasoning.

Question 9

What are the four engine tiers — Flash, Core, Pro and Max?

Accepted Answer

They are different compute budgets for the same pipeline. Flash is fastest and best for quick reads, Core is the everyday default, Pro adds deeper multi-timeframe reasoning and the advanced pattern set, and Max spends the most compute on complex or conflicting market states.

Question 10

Why does the analysis show a transparency log?

Accepted Answer

Because you should be able to audit a conclusion. The log lists the steps the engine took, which data it used, and which checks passed or failed. If conviction is low, the engine says so instead of inventing certainty.

Question 11

Can the AI be wrong?

Accepted Answer

Yes, and it is designed to admit it. Markets are probabilistic. Every analysis carries an uncertainty block and a counter-argument section precisely so you never treat one output as a fact. Nothing in the product is a promise of profit.

Question 12

Which advanced patterns are detected?

Accepted Answer

Beyond classic candle and chart formations, the higher tiers detect Smart-Money-Concept structures — order blocks, fair-value gaps, break of structure, change of character, liquidity sweeps — plus harmonic geometries. These are gated to the top tiers because they need the deepest reasoning budget.

Question 13

Which plans exist?

Accepted Answer

Five: Free, Starter, Trader, Pro and Elite. Free is a look-around tier with manual tools and no AI. Starter adds a limited monthly AI allowance. Trader unlocks unlimited AI, vision mode and backtesting. Pro adds the auto-scanner, Telegram alerts and unlimited prop-firm accounts. Elite is the full multi-asset build with the deepest engine tier.

Question 14

Is the Free plan a trial that expires?

Accepted Answer

No. Free stays free. It intentionally has no AI analysis and no automation — it exists so you can see the terminal, the journal and the knowledge base before paying for anything.

Question 15

Monthly or yearly — what changes?

Accepted Answer

Only the price. Yearly billing costs roughly ten months for twelve, monthly billing keeps you flexible. The feature set of a tier is identical in both cases.

Question 16

Can I change or cancel my plan?

Accepted Answer

Yes, at any time from your billing settings. Upgrades take effect immediately and are prorated; downgrades and cancellations take effect at the end of the current period, and you keep access until then.

Question 17

Which payment methods do you accept?

Accepted Answer

Payments are processed by Stripe. Credit and debit cards are supported, plus the local methods Stripe enables for your country. We never see or store your full card details.

Question 18

Do you offer refunds?

Accepted Answer

Digital access is provisioned immediately, so we do not offer blanket refunds after use. If something went technically wrong — a double charge, a failed provisioning — contact us and we will fix it.

Question 19

Where does the market data come from?

Accepted Answer

Price and candle data come from established market-data providers. Every request is validated for gaps, stale timestamps and implausible values before the engine is allowed to reason on it. If the data is not clean, the analysis is blocked rather than guessed.

Question 20

Is the data real-time?

Accepted Answer

Data is near-real-time with provider-dependent latency and, for some instruments, a short delay. FX CURIO is built for structural swing and intraday decisions, not for latency-sensitive scalping or arbitrage.

Question 21

Which markets are covered?

Accepted Answer

Forex majors and minors, commodities such as gold, silver and oil, major indices, large-cap crypto and selected US and EU equities. Which classes you can access depends on your plan.

Question 22

How does the economic calendar and news layer work?

Accepted Answer

High-impact events are mapped to the instruments they typically move. The scanner and the analysis flag when you are inside a news window, so a technically clean setup is not presented as safe minutes before a rate decision.

Question 23

How reliable is the backtest engine?

Accepted Answer

It replays historical candles with the same detectors the live engine uses, which makes results comparable across strategies. Like every backtest it cannot model your exact broker's spread, slippage and fills, so treat the numbers as relative evidence, not as an achievable track record.

Question 24

Do you need my broker credentials?

Accepted Answer

No. FX CURIO never asks for broker logins, API trading keys or account passwords. There is no connection to your trading account, which means there is nothing for an attacker to abuse.

Question 25

How is my data stored?

Accepted Answer

Your journal, watchlists and settings are stored in an access-controlled database where row-level rules restrict every record to your own account. Traffic is encrypted in transit.

Question 26

Do you sell my data?

Accepted Answer

No. We do not sell or rent personal data, and we do not share your journal with third parties. Details are in the privacy policy.

Question 27

Can I delete my account and data?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You can request deletion at any time; we remove your personal data and journal content, keeping only what accounting law requires us to retain for invoices.

Question 28

Is FX CURIO financial advice?

Accepted Answer

No. FX CURIO is educational and analytical software. We are not an investment adviser, broker or asset manager, and nothing in the product is a personal recommendation to buy or sell any instrument.

Question 29

Do you guarantee profits?

Accepted Answer

No, and we distrust anyone who does. Trading leveraged instruments carries a high risk of losing money rapidly. Past performance and backtests do not predict future results. Only risk capital you can afford to lose.

Question 30

Who operates FX CURIO?

Accepted Answer

FX CURIO is operated by Swiss Onyx Trading LLC, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Full company details are in the imprint.

Question 31

Is it allowed under prop-firm rules?

Accepted Answer

FX CURIO is an analysis and risk tool, not a trade copier or automated EA, so it fits the usual discretionary-trading requirements. Rules differ per firm, so check your own contract before using any external tool.
